:)
I know nothing about mine.. Except I think it's after school? How about yours?
Cost?
Time?
Length of course/etc

I think $60
A week over the summer from 8-3:30 with an hour break for lunch and two 15 minutes break

...and I stil don't have my permit

I hated driving school, so glad I got my license.

O ya, mine was around 400 dollars, 15 two hour sessions in the classroom. Then something like 3 two hour on roads. Plus the money to actually get your license and the paper work.

depends the state ur in

How'd you get the skills for your license?

Let's see... I took driver's ed over the summer in an intensive two-week period. 3 hrs/day (9 am - 12 pm). It was torturous, but I needed my license, so I sucked it up. After that, I had my onroads (three lessons per week for two weeks). Total cost was around $300 (not including registration fees and stuff for my license).

Anyone taking Driver's Ed during school year?

I did, it took me a while, but I did it along with track and school.

:)
What time of the day?

6 30 to 8 30 , they also had 4 30 to 6 30 classes, but during track I couldn't take those.

We have no driving class at my school. ;-;
All the classes at other places were full.
So I'm waiting until March when I turn 18, then I can (legally) drive anywhere. Only have my junior license now, since I passed the test but am not 18, and never took a driving course. ;(

I see no point in that stupid law here. If I passed the test (first time), I'm obviously qualified enough to drive.

mine was from 7 to 9 at night twice a week for 6 weeks. i wanted to shoot myself.

it was in a room that had a white tiled floor, stark white walls, black desks, a white board, and my teacher always wore black pants w/ a white shirt and black tie. it was like living in a black and white tv. plus he was 72 years old and boring as all hell.

depend on the state and the city. but, i think it is easiet when you tke it through school bcuz the instructor usually has an in with the people who give the test. and you need an in because in ny, you are given a date that can be like 3 months away and 40 miles away from where you live. it's expensive...but worth it. who doesn't want to drive???

I took it in 4 days, 6 hours each in the summer. So i got my permit in 5 days

State of Illinois schools have it in the high school. We have it for a quarter and you cannot miss more than 5 days in the quarter to pass. Then you have to drive for 6 hours BTW with an instructor and observe for 6 hours in the car.

Our school requires Drivers' Ed to graduate even!

online, $70 (the free one offered through my school didn't work with my marching band practice schedule.) The actual behind the wheel driver's training was more.

I wish my school system/state required that. Less crashes:) I passed the permit already barely without studying..:D

If you live in CA, it's only $50.

MD costs $285
