Dropping a language course for my senior year, advice appreciated

To give some context, this is my junior year, and I am taking two language classes: Latin III and Japanese I, both at the honors level.

However, due to some issues with my school district and conflicts in my schedule, I am opting to drop Japanese II so that I can fit AP Physics C into my schedule next year. Will colleges look at this in a negative way? I have high As in both classes, so it isn't as if I'm failing and dropping out.

And apologies in advance if this is not the right section -- I'm still finding my way around CC and there's a lot of forums.

No. You have the other language class, and most schools only require 3 years of a language anyway. It still sounds like you’re taking a rigorous course load.

You’re fine.

@mynameismott My school only requires 2 years of a foreign language for my class (though it is now 3 for the freshmen), so it’s not required but I do enjoy them.

Thanks for the opinions. If anything, I can still pursue it on my own time.

Edit: Typo

@Caedis I meant colleges, but that’s good.

@mynameismott My apologies.
Most of the colleges I’ve looked at have said nothing about foreign language, just core subjects.

So jealous your school has Japanese…

@starlily It actually just started this year!
