I know that I need to report changes but I was just wondering what you guys thought (preferably those who have some experience in the matter.)

I just got accepted into UC Davis and I don't need chemistry for my major but it is part of my igetc. However, I'm going to have to drop that class and I want to take it over the summer, is this going to be a terribly big deal?

Well i just think that they want everyone to finish as much if not all by the spring. if not the number of applicants would be greater.
ilivefree: u finish your two english course as ask by igetc, so why would you need to complete a third? your done wit your requirement so you that english 5 class was just an extra class.

What is English 5 at your cc? take a look at your other courses you have completed, you might have sufficed the requirement with another course you’d taken or are taking. I can only assume English 5 the critical thinking requirement-
btw ilivefree, I am not trying to be an ass or anything, I just would not like someone’s admission to be pulled because they are looking onto summer school as one more chance. :)

i took 2 semesters of english/composition. english 5 = critical thinking

do i have to take it? i already emailed my prof that i won’t be dropping and that i hope she’ll be professional. we had it out over spring break.

i dropped biology, but i don’t think it is part of IGETC class because it is bio without a lab. do you think it will be a problem? ( UCSB Btw) I’m also not sure if without it I’ll have 60 units but I heard that UCSB lets you take like 2 classes over the summer to complete the 60 units.
help!?!!
