Dropping AP French Endanger Admission?

am currently taking an unnecessary fourth year of French, and would like to drop the course to have a five period schedule (like most other seniors at my school). I have tried contacting the Irvine admissions office with little success.

My current schedule includes:
1: AP English Comp
2: AP Statistics
3: Teachers Aid
4: Graphic Design I
5: AP Government
6: AP French

Would dropping French put me at any kind of risk?

In my senior year I dropped AP Stats and I was fine. If you drop a class I think it gives UCI admissions the legal ability to withdraw your admission as it messes up the contract or something. But at the same time, if you stay in good academic standing (at least average grades, maybe 3.0+?) I doubt they would care. Plus senior year is a time for relaxing right? Just make sure you report it. I did so through the myadmissions thing. you could also try calling too
