I have already accepted an offer to attend the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign college of engineering. I applied as an IB diploma candidate and have finished the IA’s and extended essay, however I didn’t work on CAS because I was busy with other stuff. Would they rescind their offer if I dropped the diploma now. Also don’t comment asking “why drop it now” or anything like that. I ONLY want to know if there is a possibility that it could effect their decision.

You should still take your exams for potential college credit, but the diploma won’t matter at UIUC.
Yes I would still take the exams. I have already taken the English and math ones.
Can you actually graduate without the IB diploma? Colleges will not admit students who can’t graduate from HS.
@anaesabc if in the US, I am unaware of any school that does not grant a h.s. diploma separate from the IB Diploma.
