Dual BA Program with Sciences Po and Columbia University

Hi everybody! I'm applying to the Dual BA program this fall, and (like everyone else who seems to have found this program) can't find much information on it. I'm a high school senior, and it seems to be that this program is more geared towards people who already have a degree from a university. Will this put me at a disadvantage? Or an advantage?

I'm homeschooled, but I go to community college and I've taken roughly 60 units worth of classes here with a consistent 4.0 GPA. Which sounds all fine and dandy, but I just got my SAT scores back and I got a measly 1880. How much weight do each hold? I know it's not a stellar SAT score, but the rest of my academic background is so strong.

I know that it's really early as far as college applications go, but I'm really curious about the program and I'm hoping that some of you guys are interested in it as well or have attended it. Anything I should know about it? And if you're applying now, which campus are you looking at? And where do you stand academically?

Anyway, good luck with all your applications! :)

Simply put, you might need a miracle to get in with a SAT score like that. I commend your GPA and the credits you earned, really impressive, but there are many applicants with 4.0s in college level/college classes, high test scores, and ECs that would put them above you. Unless you were a URM, first gen, other hook, or blown out of the water essays, I would say you probably want to take the SAT again.

Yo ashleyckim, current Dual BA student over here, my SATs were terrible and Im currently typing this from Reims, so t’inquiete pas:)
