Dual Credit CC FAFSA Q

So I'm in HS right now and I've taken DUAL CREDIT classes at my local community college. However, this past semester I took classes that were not dual credit and only counted toward college, on tax payers dime because the city and school district has a deal tthat allows for zero tuition for all HS kids taking ANY class at the local cc. So...on the FAFSA, question 28

When you begin the 2009-2010 school year, what will be your grade level (question 28)?

Should I answer....NEVER ATTENDED COLLEGE/1ST YEAR
or
ATTENDED COLLEGE BEFORE/1ST YEAR

In your case, I would suggest putting attended college before/1st year.

According to the instructions from the 2008-2009 FAFSA you would put "never attended college/1st year " if you are a HS student.

Never attended college & 1st year undergraduate (high school seniors and/or first-time students should choose this grade level)

Completing the FAFSA 08-09/The Application Questions(23-31)

I don't think it really makes any difference.

No, it really does not make any difference.

I didn't realize the instructions were so clear. How come everyone keeps asking that question?!

I don't think most people know about the detailed instructions. I can't find them for the current FAFSA which is why I keep posting the 2008-2009 ones. s/b mostly the same - except where it's different of course.

Oh I did find the 2009-2010 instructions. They are not available as an HTML file yet to look at online - but can be downloaded as a pdf file from here
