I've heard that your dual credit gpa factors into your whole gpa when transferring. I want to transfer into mccombs and this is really discouraging.

Even though I have a 4.0 I really don't because I got B's in Trig and Precal in what 10th and 11th grade????!

"I thought when you go to college you can choose not to use your Dual Credits. Or do they force you to count them? "

im not sure. i think i submitted it for approval in the beginning of school because i didnt know. dont know if its possible to have it removed though.

but at least i got As in Calculus 1 and 2, so hopefully that matters more than the B's I got in highschool? at least I would think right?

damn so i'll have like a 3.82 if we go by that scale since i got b's in trig and precal but got an A in cal 1. Ill have an A in cal 2 and the other indicator classes as well.

how screwed am i? i thought i had a decent chance with the 4.0 but now its a 3.82 :( :(

i mean hopefully the a's in cal 1 and 2 outweigh the b's i got earlier in highschool??

I did not submit dual credit when I applied, but I didn't have a grade yet because I was in the course during the fall semester when I applied. The course was also designated as AP and not Dual Credit on my transcript, so this may be part of the reason.

The credit ended up counting at UT, but not as in-residence and not toward my GPA (I think it will count in my GPA when I apply for law school or grad school though).
