Dual Enrollment Admission

Im looking for some advice here... I am a junior in high school and dual enrolled at a state college. I want to go to UF for Accounting. When I graduate from high school I will also receive my AA degree from the state college. I will also have met all the requirements for junior level transfer at Fisher. So even though I apply as a freshman I am going to be evaluated as a junior. Right now I'm flipping out because I don't know if I stand a chance....

HS GPA: 3.9 / 4.9 Weighted (+/-)
College: 3.85
EC: NHS, 'Renaissance' Member (somewhat similar to NHS), 200 volunteer hours
SAT: ~1750 (hoping to raise to 1900 before I apply)

So here are my questions....

1) How does UF look at dual enrollment credits? Especially since I've worked hard to get almost straight A's in college!
2) I know my EC is extremely weak. Will my DE credits balance this out? Is there anything I can do over summer that will make a big impact?

Thanks so much for your time

For dual enrollment as long as you have completed all the requirements for your major you should be fine. I would also contact an advisor to make sure of this before applying.
You’re GPA/SAT is great. For EC I would try to do something meaningful over the summer. I know in some areas they actually have an accounting for the needy and elderly program where you help them with taxes and balance their budgets etc. and is done over the watch of an accountant so you need no prior knowledge and this would obviously relate to your major. I would look into a program like than and if there isn’t a program like that in your area if you could start one under the guise of a willing accountant that would look amazing.
