My son wants to major in Informational Science/Informational Technology but wants business as well. Any opinion/info comparing Kelley IS/IT vs ischool and if he does ischool/Whitman does that change anything. I know Kelley has a better reputation but would feel he would get more out of the dual degree from syracuse. He also knows about the extra credits required for the dual and has no issues with it.
Thanks
Are you asking about Kelley at Indiana vs. Whitman as Syracuse? I have kids in both of these programs. I would say that both are very reputable. As far as communication from the schools and overall impression, Kelley is a little step above Whitman. However, my daughter is a Newhouse/Whitman dual which is a fabulous program unsurpassed by what IU offers. You can’t go wrong with either school.
I’d go with Newhouse/Whitman if that’s what you’re asking, as long as it’s affordable without parent loans.
Is IU instate?
Has your son been admitted to IU already?
What does the NPC say about each?
His main interest is informational science/tech. He applied Early Decision for dual program ischool/Whitman. He felt he would get more out of the dual, especially since he can start informational science major immediately. He had a private tour and meeting at the ischool and it sold him. He’s been accepted to Kelley, were out of state for Indiana. Whats NPC?

IU OOS is likeky to cost you 45k (no financial aid but merit aid possible for high test scores).
Syracuse has its own way of calculating costs so you need to run the NPC.
