<p>There’s one other girl from my high school that applied ED. We are very, VERY different applicants though.</p>
<p>All I know is that 30/572 people from my school have said they are applying to Duke (know this through Naviance). Im in NC, so that explains the large amount. I have no idea how many are ED though.</p>

<p>I am the only one from my school applying ED to Duke - I actually might be the only person applying ED anywhere, although I do know several people who did EA at different places.</p>
<p>I know of at least 4 people (3 of them good friends) applying to Duke RD though, so they’re watching me very closely to see what happens with my app! It’s kinda nerve-wracking having to go before them, not gonna lie. But at the same time I’ll be the first one Duke sees :)</p>
<p>Ok, so I was looking back through some of the older Duke ED countdown threads, and for the past three years, the applicants believed the decision date to be December 15th, until they received an email either late November or early December letting them know it would actually be the 10th (or the 11th, for the class of 2013). I went back and checked all of the emails Ive gotten from admissions, and none of them say anything definitive about the decision date. I guess that means we could also <em>hopefully</em> be this lucky as well?</p>
<p>They say to expect it BY the 15th. I guess they’ve gotten it done earlier in past years.</p>
<p>I really hope decisions come early! 27 days left if they come out on the 15th!</p>
<p>I believe there’s 2 or 3 other people from my school applying ED. Duke has been pretty popular in the past few years.</p>

<p>I’m from maryland, and everyone here hates duke. for some reason, they think maryland and duke have a rivalry. pshhh, nothing compares to unc. I’m the only person in my school to ever apply lol</p>
