It looks like some people in the 2014 CC thread received decisions by May 8th, but Duke did send an email around May 5th notifying the students that they would @neoscarecrue @Division1to100 @Bored1997 @Sam998 @nt1994 @gwill819

I also applied to Duke. It was a long shot, but I was already putting in a few others so I figured might as well try. My stats aren’t so great, as far as ACT and AP, and high school GPA, but I tried to explain why. My extra curric’s were really cool, I think, and hopefully my essays came across the right way. Would be so stoked if decisions came out earlyish! This whole process has been so intense but I’m looking forward to move on to the next adventure! Good luck everyone

I thought the decision day is today at 11:59 pm, basically makes it tomorrow…

@Jennyruo No, I haven’t gotten my decision. Just tried to log on and it isn’t letting me for the first time. Where did you hear that today is the day??
Do you guys know if Duke considers legacy status in transfer decisions? My mom got her masters there and my portal has “(Duke Alumni)” next to her name.
@Jennyruo @deepcountrygirl Decisions will not come out until May 15th unless we receive an email telling us otherwise.
@Jennyruo @deepcountrygirl I did receive an automated email after submitting documents saying to check for decisions on May 1st at 11:59pm. However, on the checklist/deadline on Duke’s website it says we should receive decisions by May 15th. Obviously, we should be expecting decisions between now and the 15th. Good luck everyone!

Me neither! But I guess we should all log onto the Duke portal in a couple hours and see if it applied to us as well
Please read the email again. It is meant for regular decision applicants to review their admission decision before the May 1 reply deadline date.
This is what part of the email says:
"Thank you for your message to Duke University. Complete information about our application process may be found at http://admissions.duke.edu/.
To review your admission decision, simply log in to your checklist at https://applicants.siss.duke.edu by 11:59 p.m., May 1. If you have been admitted or waitlisted, you can respond to your offer at that link as well. Please note that Duke does not require a monetary deposit to hold your space in the class.
We notified Regular Decision applicants and Early Decision deferred applicants of their admission decisions on March 24. Financial aid information was also available for those whose financial aid applications were complete."
@prohudson16 It seems that the emailed you received is not for transfer.
