I thought the range for trinity was 30-34

I just brought up last year’s profile and it was 31-35 It surprised me as well

That’s the admitted student range. The enrolled student’s ACT range is lower so probably around 30-34 or 31-34 for Trinity.

enrolled range for class of 2017(trinity and pratt) was 31-34.

Hopefully the range of scores will stay the same and I hope duke doesn’t stress test scores too much and looks at the applicant as a whole

really hoping they at least glance at subscores b/c my superscore is at the top of the range but my composite is in the middle

also since the ed acceptance rate is higher than rd i would assume the average act is a little lower for ed applicants? or am i incorrect

Oh thanks! One time I’m happy to be wrong haha @hagzzz

I realize this has been asked, but I never found a clear answer. Does anyone know if the time they gave us in the email (7:00 PM) is Eastern Standard Time or is it for a different time zone?

I am almost certain its eastern standard time.

eastern standard time, atleast based on past years

I’m trying so hard to remind myself it is not the end of the world if I don’t get in because of how difficult it is! But I JUST WANT TO GO TO DUKE SO BADLY! Hoping for good news in 2 days!

Folks, My son has applied for ED and got his interview done 2 weeks back. We received 1 book from Duke titled 'Know no bounds" yesterday that talks about Duke campus etc. Would that be any indicative of Duke’s interest in admitting him in ED category? Thanks and best luck to you all.

@saeerocks I wouldn’t exactly think so, it sounds like one of the typical booklets that Duke sends out to students who have shown interest in the school.

Does anybody know how much saving a classmate’s life with CPR will help me stand out?

Yes I believe all of us received that book

Thanks @Hersheybar315 @cw1114

It would make sense for results to come out 7:00 EST because Duke is in that time zone. And yes, I also received that book - I believe everyone who applied did.

^ Minus international students (or maybe it’s still on its way shrug)

We noticed that (to the best of our knowledge) no one in the past from Son’s school have been accepted/applied to Duke. I wonder if that would matter for the admit criteria? I guess I am getting impatient now… thanks.

@asdfghjklyeah wow you saved someone’s life! Heck yeah I think your gonna stand out
