<p>Just wondering where the information was found that Duke does not release decisions on a Friday? The 12th would seem most logical to me for them to release decisions.</p>
<p>@ellisnp Someone compiled the release dates of the last ~5 admissions cycles for ED and none of them were on a friday. All were Tues-Thurs. I can’t find the post, though. I do remember last year was 12/12, a Thursday. </p>

were the dates from the other thread, that is why the assumption was made that it wouldn’t be friday…</p>
<p>it looks if follow the same logic, this year decisions will also be released on 11th Thursday. the sooner the better.</p>
<p>Do you guys know how far in advance duke emails us before the decisions are released? Like do they usually give a week’s notice. Because if they do then we should have received an email today…</p>
<p>They usually give a weeks notice (at least that is what they did last year), which is why I was expecting the email today, but it hasn’t come. So I guess we should expect an email tomorrow. I still think decisions will be on thursday though. </p>

<p>My dad knows somebody involved with admissions and she said that we are supposed to hear back next Thursday, the 11th. You guys are right. This is as close to a confirm as I can find. Good luck!</p>
