Fellow RDer here. I submitted my application on the 20th to meet the interview priority deadline and decided to do the optional essay.
Isnāt the adcoms office out on Holiday break right now?
@TikopiaRock28 I think they said they would be out from December 30 to January 2.
@biologylover Hey, I applied regular decision as well. I have an interview Jan. 14th with an alumna at a local coffee shop. Did the optional essay as well.
Hey @Butterfly25 I havenāt been contacted about an interview. Iām not sure if thereās any Duke alumni around where I live, so Iāll just wait and see I guess.

My son also did not do the optional essay and was admitted ED class of 2020.
Itās been a week and I havenāt gotten my application login and when do you get contacted for an interview?
@Math557 Hey, I have yet to receive my application login info as well. Iām not so sure when theyāll allow RD applicants to track their apps. Iāll ask at my interview if we have yet to receive login info. Also I turned in my common app for Duke Oct.31, so they may reply to interview requests by app submission, but since you turned in your app by Dec.20, you should get an email soon, hopefully.

For some reason my transcript, Letter of recs, and SAT scores (which have all been sent) all are missing on the portalā¦

@oneandonlyx the night of the 19th, and my SAT scores/transcript were sent weeks before
@TikopiaRock28 My account took a few days to update, too. After a week, everything had been checked off except for my ACT, which had been sent over a year ago. I had to call the admissions office and ACT to get that one sorted out.
Hey guys! First time on this thread and Iāve only read a few posts on it so far, so please forgive me if this question has already been asked or discussed in detail. I see that a few of you have gotten your RD portals already. When did you receive the email from Duke saying your application had been received? I applied on 12/20 and got the email of receipt on 12/22, but havenāt gotten a portal email yet. Anyone else in a similar situation? Not worried, just excited to get the portal.
