Have University Scholars finalist emails been released yet?
I think only ab and maybe some others came out yesterday. I’m pretty sure university scholars comes out later. I think it was on a Tuesday last year, so might be 3/14
I’m pretty sure if the finalists were all notified yesterday, there would be more people posting on here, right?

how did everyone else’s interview go? mine went badly, my interviewer just asked me why i didn’t do certain things (i.e. take more AP’s this year, when I’m in five, not play a sport, not take a language this year, etc.) and kind of put down the activities i dedicated a lot of time to (robotics & math competition, which obligate me to stay at school until 6 pm at least and work on Saturday’s) 
@MissAnthropy Don’t worry. You’ll be fine. Interviews do not have much weight, I think. Anyway, your description sounds alright - not much to freak about.
@MissAnthropy don’t worry. evaluating your ECs, your courseload and the way you spend your remaining time is the job of the admissions counselors who review the application, not the interviewer. i doubt that they’ll take what your interviewer said into account, if he even reported these questions. my interview with Duke was actually my favorite one. it was informational but, most of all, fun. however, i did have a negative experience with an interview for another university, so i understand how you must feel. we shouldn’t worry, though.
Are we expecting a March 30 decision day - or does Duke like to scoop Ivy Day by releasing earlier that week?
@brooklynilene I am guessing Thursday Mar. 23 because last year it was on Thursday Mar. 24… I’m just going by last year
@MissAnthropy Every school says that every year, but has never followed that. Look at past years threads and you’ll see a pattern. This is for almost every school too
Hey guys I have some useful scholarship info. I called the admissions office and they said that merit scholarship finalists are notified as their applications are reviewed, so notifications are rolling. Although you should be notified in the next week or so, just because someone else has been doesn’t mean you won’t be. If anyone has specifically gotten a BN Duke finalist notification, I would be interested in your stats or facts about you because I’m really hoping for one of the SC spots, as it’s my best shot to get enough money to go. I had a very negative interview experience with Duke (interviewer would reject my answers and was condescending the entire time) and was still deferred ED - I’m sure its not the end all be all.
