I heard the quarter grades are not very important, they just want to make sure you’re not blowing off senior year
also do u guys know if they have their own gpa scale that they convert all of our gpas onto because not all of us have same ones

@okimstressing last year 671 were deferred and 58 of those ended up getting accepted
Someone I know has a “Mid Year Report” request on his portal, but it was not there a few days ago and Duke only asks who got in or deferred for it ??? I’m nervous.
so basically if you’re deferred u have like no chance
Any of you applying from boarding schools? I have a very low ACT of 31 but am hoping legacy status might help and boarding school too.
what are the chances of the decisions coming out with no preparatory email?

From Admissions Office (via phone call 12/8):
“we will be sending out an email sometime MONDAY informing Early Decision applicants AS TO WHEN they should check their portals for decisions, which will be another day later that week, by the 15th”
NOT TO CHECK DECISIONS. JUST WHEN THEY WILL BE AVAILABLE
I called regarding late test scores, and at the end of the conversation briefly asked if/when they were gonna send out an email of some sort. The woman I was speaking too briefly put me on hold and then said Monday. However, that’s just what one lady said. Could totally be wrong or change. Again, she is saying we will recieve an email monday, stating when decisions will be posted (not that they will be released).
ahhhh! this is so stressful!
