SAME I should’ve been doing literally all of my homework but no im here instead
I’m trying to get myself ready for rejection so I’m not sad if I don’t get in but I’m happy if I do but I know no matter what I’m going to be sad if I don’t get in lol

@cgp2000 OMG lol I applied for biophysics too I felt like I was basically the only one
Is it bad that I applied as undecided for my major?
@theboyoverthere Did you personally see the mid-year request? Or did the person just tell you about it? I know statistically some on here should be accepted, but they are going to reject over 2000 applicants. Hopefully not everyone on here who has not gotten the mid-year request.
@Samim35 You are extremely likely to be accepted. I would be very surprised otherwise.
Pretty dumb to do chance me here for ED in my opinion. If people say you will likely get accepted, you just get your hopes up and it would suck if you get denied. If people say you’re gonna get rejected, just brings you down while you could get accepted. Literally just wait 3-5 days.
Do you guys think that the reason there hasn’t been an email is because decisions are taking longer this year and they’re going to send them out later in the week (thurs or fri) or is there a chance for earlier in the week (like tuesday or wednesday)? I just need to know whether to check my email every 5 minutes over the next few days or not(::::
I have that first quarter grade thing on my portal too. It says “If your school issues First Quarter/Trimester grades and they have not been included on your original transcript, a report containing these grades is required to complete your application. Your secondary school counselor should submit them electronically or via paper directly to the undergraduate admissions office as soon as they are available.” It has been there for a long time. My school doesn’t have first quarter grades so I just didn’t send this in. I’m not sure if I just ruined my application…
@gw1999 whats your caption? HAHA Im curious
The key phrase is “If your school issues First Quarter/Trimester grades” your school doesn’t so it’s okay
@gw1999 hi im also curious what ur caption ive been trying to think of one LOL
wel it has to be a secret rn but if i get rejected i’ll def give it to y’all!! its super cute promise @purtle @chrisdancerdance
did anyone apply for a degree in the arts? just wondering because I applied for theatre and I don’t think a lot of people apply for theatre so I was hoping that could give me an edge
Been following this thread for a while. I am a Chinese applicant and the situation here is basically the whole province (Similar to a state) has one or two quotas from Duke University. So, Insanely competitive and I am super stressful. @nxnx0504 , I think what you talk about is not their mid-year report, it’s the first quarter one that Duke asked from all ED applicants. I mailed the admissions since our school didn’t issue the first-quarter report, but they said that it would be very helpful if you could self-report one.
I feel the same for most of you, we are in the same boat right now.
hahaha i go off this thread to finally start my hw after stressing over dôökę this entire weekend and this thread goes from 15 pages from 24… i think if we didn’t get the midyr request thing we’re fine guys… ill post my stats after decisions
but @cgp2000 @mfb2018 I also applied for biophysics as my #1 haha
looks like we’re getting the pre-decision email tomorrow though! excited and scared at the same time, won’t be able to concentrate at all this week…thankfully i dont have a finals until this friday and the week after, although it’s gonna feel pretty crappy studying for them after i get my inevitable rejection… :c
Really hoping that these decisions go well for all of us- and I can’t wait to talk to everyone who gets in!!
