Do you have to apply for BSAI? @Pastpower
@gpshale no you’re selected by admissions.
Is there a similar thing for latinos?
If you don’t receive a BSAI invitation and are African American, can you also assume that you weren’t admitted?
No, I think you can still be accepted.
@minimango yes it’s called Latino Student Recruitment Weekend (LSRW).
Are the invitations released around the same time?
@minimango yes
Are scholarships also going to come out on the same day?
@habitualnerd Now that I’m seeing this, I doubt it. Although Benjamin and AB Duke shouldn’t be far off and Reginaldo Howard should be the same day as BSAI as those are linked
@MaybeHarvard2022 and @minimango judging by previous years it seems that the Latino Student Recruitment Weekend (LSRW) notifications typically lags the BSAI notifications by a week or two. The two events are also on different calendar days.
BSAI invites have started going out
@MaybeHarvard2022 Are they all at once or sporadic?
@MaybeHarvard2022
did you receive an invite to BSAI or a friend?
@Pastpower not sure, a friend of mine called admissions and they said they’ve started sending them out. although the person could be mistaken.
Admissions says that they will be sent out throughout March
That isn’t smart given that people have to make travel arrangements.
Any likelies yet?
Does anyone have information regarding ED Deferred applicants and typical percentage accepted during regular decision?
@CuriousEndeavor If you Google “Common data set Duke University” all the stats are in there including the number of those waitlisted and how many were offered a place off of it.
