Hi Duke Students,
I’ll be staying in the Brown residence hall in the fall. Will I need to buy toilet paper or will there be enough found in the bathrooms? Weird question I know.

No, Duke is so stingy that they won’t give you any toilet paper. You’ll have to make daily bike trips to Costco, and because there’s always a toilet paper shortage people will hoard it and get into brawls over the last roll.
@DramaIce, I don’t know whether your question was serious, but in case it was, I hope you realize that the above response was facetious. There is plenty of toilet paper. However, I do appreciate the visual of someone trying to carry a Costco pack of 30 rolls of TP on a bike.
@wstrav thanks! Yeah my question was actually serious. My brother went to a UC school and he always had to buy toilet paper cause there was never enough, so I was just wondering if I’d need to get some too
