Hi! So I was wondering how the Duke interviews go? Like what do they ask? Where is it usually taken, if you're taking it in your home state? Just as much info would be great!!!

They never gave me one hahaha…

But for the other 5 interviews I had, here are some generalities:

Usually at some place of mutual convenience (office, coffee shop, home, etc.)

Why do you want to go to the school?

What other schools did you apply to? (I gave some vague answers to this one, I admit)

Assess your strengths and weeknesses; you may be asked to discuss them.

Just be honest, treat it like a conversation. The interview is usually a trivial part of your application. Just don’t appear socially inept and you should be fine.

Okay, this is basically like all the interviews i did for boarding school… So this should be easy!

Be yourself, don’t be awkward, carry on a normal conversation.

I did my interview in an actual hospital. The person that interviewed me was an anesthesiologist. He asked basic questions such as why you are applying, what my future goals were, how my experiences have prepared me, etc.
