Dus

Would someone please tell me about the Division of Undegraduate Studies at PSU?

what about ittt :)

Lots of kids who aren't sure of their intended majors choose this "major." I believe it is available at any campus, including University Park.

yeah, its available at UP. you basically just take a bunch of gen eds and exploratory (sp?) classes to see what you wanna major in.

ive also heard they have many many resources available to help you figure out what career path you would like to take, and also that it is the easiest major/ college to get into.

Is it similar to BU's CGS, or is this totally different?

Some of the post I've read, state that it is difficult to get into certain colleges . I've also heard that even though you've been accepted into DUS, you can transfer out and transfer to a more competitive college. So my question is, why not apply to the DUS, if it realy is easier to get accepted into, and then transfer out/
Do I have this right?

I am sure this is not applicable for all majors, but as far as the business school goes it seems like it is difficult to transfer into it:

When you apply, if you are considering a business degree, but are still slightly undecided about your choice of academic college or major within Penn State, you should choose Smeal College of Business. Due to a high demand for our majors, it may not be possible to join Smeal College at a later point in time. If you decide later to change to a major in another college, you can easily make that change then.

Transfer admission to the Smeal College is currently under enrollment limits and may not be available to most transfer students...
