I got the following e-mail from Notre Dame today. I'm a bit worried because I applied EA to Notre Dame (before nov. 1), but from this e-mail it seems like they're just receiving my application/materials. Am I being stupid or does this mean that somehow I didn't apply in time?

"This email is to notify you that the status of your application file is complete and ready for review by the admissions committee.

You will receive our admission decision by postal mail by December 20th if you applied Early Action or by April 9th if you applied Regular Action. Please note that we do not post admission decisions online."

we called weeks ago, and were told that the app was completed verbally over the phone, yet the email just arrived. I think that it’s a mass mailing to all that applied EA

“To summarize: From this point forward all applicants will receive a final communication from our office via email stating that the application is complete and ready for review.”

My son applied early action but has not yet received any email saying that his application is complete and under review. Are they sending them out in any order?

He got accepted!! He received letter on 12/19 I believe. He never received an email though. We ended up callng admissions a few days after I posted this and they said his application was complete.
