Got this e-mail today:

Season's greetings from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. We know that this is a very busy time for you as you balance schoolwork and extracurricular activities, as well as your college search. We hope that you will take time during the holiday season to take a deep breath, relax, and enjoy time with the people who are close to you.

Although the fall semester at Carolina will come to an end very soon, our students continue to take advantage of the unlimited opportunities available to learn and lead. We encourage you to visit Tar Heel Blog to get a quick glimpse of how a few of our students are doing just that. Katie and hundreds of other Carolina students relieved some final exam stress with an eight-minute techno dance rave at one of the campus libraries; Olga shares an impromptu poem about the joys of exam season while cramming for upcoming finals; and Autumn was lucky enough to get great seats for an exiting basketball game. For updates and to read more about individual Carolina journeys, remember to visit again in the new year.

We wish you every happiness this holiday season and throughout the coming year.

Sincerely,
