E/SE Asia SAT and AP scores

Hmm... I'm wondering if high SAT and AP scores from students in some parts in Asia
don't really make that much of a difference - than they do for students in the United States.

Personally, I've got a 2380 on the SAT I, and got a rather nice AP record... which I
believe would be higher than many students from the States. But then again,
I see hundreds and hundreds of students with even better scores, from Singapore,
South Korea, Hong Kong, etc. etc.

Would it even be meaningful to compare my scores with North American hopefuls, or
should I rather consider stuff on a regional basis?

P.S. Even EC Activities! sigh...

2380!!!! Isnt that awesome!! I scored 2310 nd m pakistani!

International students applying to top schools would generally have higher scores than their American counterparts. However, also do bear in mind that once you get above 2300 even for HYPSM, your SAT scores doesn't make much of a difference any more - time to let the other parts of your application shine through.

Right, thanks :)
