EA acceptance rate

Excuse me if this has been previously discussed ...... it looks like Georgetown really lowered their EA acceptance rate this year from around 16% to 13%. Is this accurate? Any thoughts on why?

Here’s an article from the Hoya that provider a little bit more detail

[Early Admissions Rate Declines to Record 13% - The Hoya](http://www.thehoya.com/early-admissions-rate-declines-to-record-13-1.2969583#.UO5EMm9ZV8E)

Thanks…that is great article that explains it well. I appreciate your sending it.

That makes me feel a little better about being deferred. Only like 400-something for the College, that’s nothing! Most people have more Facebook friends than that.

Georgetown is known to be quick to defer. In the past, many students at my daughter’s school have been deferred and later accepted.
