...got nothing in the mail today. Called the admissions office, told the lady how all my friends in Ohio had received their decisions from ND last week and she just said "Well... call us tomorrow." Well, here's to hoping I get something in the mail tomorrow (which has, unfortunately, become my mantra as of late).

Hang in there, TenBelow! We'll be praying for you... Mail delivery is nuts this time of year--my mail carrier started walking away from my house the other day, and a letter dropped, which he wouldn't have known, had I not followed him and handed it to him. Stuff like that happens... I'm sure, given the circumstances, the university will give you some kind of answer by phone or e-mail...

Crossing my fingers!

Thanks, as always, for the support! My mom called to tell me today was the largest volume of mail the postal service had handled, so I guess that has something to do with it. Oh well! At least I can find out for sure tomorrow!

My daughter got the good news today that she is admitted! The admissions letter said that she is a Notre Dame Scholar, and said that that means that get some preferential consideration for financial aid. Anyone know what that really means? Tilt award more toward grant than work/study and loans? Or ____? Does ND award flat out merit aid regardless of financial need?
Thanks for any info you have.

So... whatever happened to 10 below? I was following your story!
