Weird case for me -- I got in with a 3.2ish GPA unweighted, only 2 APs (12 honors, though), and a 1370 SAT (710 V 660 M). I guess it may have been a course rigor/decent SAT thing to offset the somewhat dismal GPA. Either way, I'm ecstatic :D

I think so, ryan, but it is really difficult to get in EA without being deferred. I remember last year the ajc writing articles about how competitive UGA has gotten and how it has turned town and wait-listed 4.0s and 1290s, etc.

While UGA might have a high acceptance rate, the quality of the applicant is still strong. The average SAT last year was a 1237 and the average GPA was a 3.72.

I just love everything about UGA. I don't care about my ED school anymore. I am so happy right now.

i got my early acceptance letter from UGA 12/16. it said congratulations on the envelope and i was afraid they might have put the wrong letter in the envelope haha. but thankfully not. UGA is nice but its one of my safeties so well see.
