<p>i'm pretty sure they group by country so they have a good mix of diversity. But they probably still look at us in context of the whole applicant pool rather than country.</p>

<p>yeh i was reading over my long essay the other day and seriously having doubts about it!!! i think it was crap! maybe a 3/10!</p>
<p>but u can beat mine a 2/10 + it only covers about 5/8th of the page, crap that too a last minute essay, nooooooooooo, **** i better start my other apps</p>

<p>just wanting to see stats of other intnls coz the ppl from the US have amazing ones. also ppl applying fomr my school EA have great stats. i pretty much have no chance either (SAT - 3600/4000) and no supertalents or awards... but still hoping to get in somehow!</p>

<p>i completely agree, but you also have to realize that Stanford has a fairly self-selective applicant pool as well...it may not be represented perfectly by the members of this board, but it probably isn't far behind in terms of raw stats like SATs. After all, Stanford's median SAT score is about a 1450. Don't worry about it though, we are all in the same position, worrying about whether we get in our not, and everybody except for those 1600 ppl with 4.0's are slightly insecure about their stats, and hell, even the 1600's are probably insecure. Only time will tell...</p>
<p>I read in an article which said that only 30% of the applicants have SAT I's over 1400.
So thats like around 6000 applicants, and about 4000 will be RD (hopefully) so stat wise too our chances are not that bad :)</p>
<p>ok well that makes me feel a bit better. im just so nervous about the decision, i just wanna get in!!!</p>
