<p>Just read through the EA decision thread. Ethnicity was something that people filled out there.</p>

<p>ummm my homie was a 1420 SAT 680 700 700 SAT IIs and got straight up rejected from yale EA...also 3.86 GPA at a top NY high school...and hes black...with tons of community service (800+ hrs, lots of good stuff, awesome recs etc)</p>

<p>maybe his essays weren't good. Minority status does not guarantee admission.</p>
