Could you share his stats? I also applied for Engineering an am awaiting an admissions decision.

3.9 GPA, 2120 SAT, in state - Also accepted to Commonwealth College.

Nextstop, what were you son’s stats. I am waiting on sports management as well.

Thanks

Spire updated and the fat envelope arrived-D was accepted into Commonwealth College along with her nursing acceptance! This is her first choice.

Accepted into economics! In-state.

I was accepted, but into my second choice major that I don’t plan on pursuing since I have acceptances from other school for engineering. I emailed admissions to ask why I wasn’t admitted to my intended major, electrical engineering. But I’d like to hear what others think.

My Stats:

GPA: 3.96/5 weighted
ACT: 29, writing score-11
2 APS
College Credit for engineering courses
Great essay on females in engineering

Can someone help me out? Why do you think they didn’t accept me into the Engineering Program?

Accepted to econ from Kansas. 2260 3.8 UW/4.3 W. Lots of 5s on AP tests. Good ECs like 2nd place in state debate. I only got in on Spire, I don’t know about scholarships or honors college yet.

UPDATE on post #268: I just learned I earned an $8000 scholarship, so I am thinking that my acceptance into my second choice major was likely due to the engineering program being full. I emailed admissions and will post what I learn when they reply :)

Should I be worried… my spire has not been updated and I still have not received a letter? ):

Stats were 3.7 GPA. 1800 SAT. 4AP. NHS. Community service and lots of extracurricular. Acceptance said limited spots in sports management led to acceptance as undeclared. In state

I got accepted to the school of nursing a few weeks ago out of state 1780 SAT 3.9 GPA with 8k scholarship

Are u going to go undeclared?

Accepted into Isenberg (Business school). 4.1 GPA, 2150 SAT, 6 AP, leadership roles, good essays. Didn’t say I was into Common wealth, didn’t say I got any merit. Wondering why I got zero merit because most people with lower stats have been getting at least $2,000.

Accepted! Invited to Commonwealth Honors College with $12k Chancellors Scholarship. OOS.

What is the highest value given for Chancellor’s Scholarship?

Did anyone else here get deferred from in state today? A lot of kids in my school got their deferred decision today at around 10 am.
GPA: 3.59/5.00
SAT: 2240/2400, 1440/1600
2AP

acbo2014 I’m on the same boat
2170…1430
3.61/5
1 AP
Im pretty bummed, thought I’d definitely get in

Did u get outright deferred or deferred from a particular school?

Anyone know the last day UMASS will post early action decisions? Still no answer.

Thanks

@ronboy72 my spire just says defer to regular decision so i assume outright deferred

Accepted!!! (CS Major) Just got my packet today!
