@chillypenguin: Internationals don’t get emails. I got an email saying from express delivery service noting that I would be getting documents from BC in 2 days time.

There are still some deferrals going out. I know this because I just spoke with my guidance counselor and he told me that I was deferred, but I didn’t receive the deferral email on Monday. Don’t lose hope though! The acceptance rate at BC for regular admissions is MUCH higher than it is for EA. They really only accept the students with near-perfect numbers during EA, and many of those students don’t even end up attending BC as they pursue other schools. Hang in there, everybody.

@damond
i think youre right man

and thanks for the heads up jlucey, so that confirms everyone that not all the deferrals were emailed on monday

@gisallacx: apparently BC admissions on fb thinks otherwise.

Guys it all depend on what they need for the particular class. They want a diverse group of people who are committed to the values they have at BC. No matter what happens, it’s not solely because your “stats” are too low. Keep the faith

And by the way, I have a feeling deferrals may have been sent by a students particular school

@set1012 : I don’t know who you talked to but I think the consensus is that more deferrals are coming:(

has anyone who did not get an email been deferred?

How do you know that you got deferred without an email?
Excluding the counselors thing, but for me, counselors don’t know squat unless I tell em.

i called the office, and one of the people told me that all of the deferrals were sent out, and only accept/rejections were still going out to those who hadn’t heard and i dont think they would lie to me…

Out of curiosity, did you call today?

There has been so many conflicting reports!! At this point I don’t think we should assume anything, LOL :p

i called probably wednesday, but still they told me all the deferrals were sent

Can’t wait for my letter on Monday :)

i can’t take this anymore. On the BC facebook page for prospective applicants they clearly say that not all have been sent out…

The Facebook page has posted inaccuracies regarding mail with international applicants… It’s hard to judge what is the truth at this point

interesting how BC officers post inaccurate information, lol.

For those who weren’t deferred, are we going to be notified in our Portal if we were accepted/denied? Or do we just have to wait until our tangible letter comes in the mail?

@bulldog usually the way you know through agora is if the tab to pay your deposit appears. However, nobody has said theirs has changed yet, and i think i know why.
Someone from newton who got their acceptance letter yesterday said that on the letter it states that the payment website won’t go live until the 18th. I think it’s safe to say that means your agora won’t update until the 18th, which is most likely after you get your letter anyways. I hope that helps

I’m so anxious for my letter to come to SoCal!

Me too @RobbiePonce99…me too! So our letters should arrive sometime this week?
