BC’s response was under a post by a student - see “Recent Posts By Others” and follow the threads/responses for Early Action Decisions. You will find the one I copied above made earlier today by BC. I took it as, at this point forward, only hard copies of decisions will be received. (No more emails except for International.)

Best of luck in the coming days to everyone.

chilly, your deferral came via mail? with no email on monday? and don’t lose hope mate, you still have a chance, and even if BC doesn’t work out you’ll end up going somewhere you love

@avonhcky - my deferral was referring to another college that I had wanted to get accepted into. However, I’m fine as in retrospect Im fine with any of my colleges because they are all great schools.

I’m still awaiting BC results, thanks for the kind words tho man :D

My son was just notified by his guidance counselor by email that he was accepted to BC, but he hasn’t received confirmation from BC, although his school’s Naviance website now reflects that 1 student was accepted to BC.

So basically, I’m an international student, and today received those express mailing emails. It says that the weight of the package is 0.170 (not sure about the units), that isn’t good news right? :(

And BTW, there is no change in tabs on the Agora portal, so can’t confirm 100% that he got in, although my son seems pretty sure the email from his guidance counselor indicates he did. I guess we will see.

thanks for the info psychodad, I would have no reason to doubt your counselor, and nobody else has posted that their agora has changed yet, which leads me to believe that the tabs might change tomorrow…but who knows

I found out I got accepted last night because I’m being recruited and the coach called me and told me. Nothing has changed in my portal thing so looks like you won’t know until you get the letter. Good luck everybody!

can anyone confirm that all the deferral emails were sent out and only accept ions/rejections are going out to those who havent heard? I called and this is why they told me…

My theory is that BC indeed has sent out all deferral emails. However they don’t want applicants to assume that they were accepted, so they are saying only part of the deferred students have received the notification. But who knows.
