EA Stanford with no subject tests OR RD Stanford with?

I’m having a bit of trouble here…
So I’m contemplating of whether or not I should apply EA or RD to Stanford. If I go EA, I’m probably not going to be sending in any subject tests (maybe my 700 Bio E, but it’s crap). If I go RD, I can actually study and take Math 2 and bio before December. Please, for the love of CC, help me. I honestly don’t know what to do. Thanks.

If you want to look at my entire application with stats and EC’s to have a better idea, here’s the link: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1801979-chance-me-for-ucb-ucla-ucsd-stanford-will-chance-back-p1.html

For Stanford, I would imagine you would like to submit a stellar application, so if that means you need your SAT subject tests to complete your application, then wait and apply RD.

@Gumbymom Thanks for your opinion! Although the stats show that people who are accepted from EA have a ~10% chance compared to RD, which is ~5%, it won’t matter as much as taking my subject tests?

I would not recommend applying REA to Stanford. The 10% acceptance rate includes legacies, athletic recruits, and other hooked applicants. The acceptance rate for unhooked applicants is much lower. In addition, 80% are rejected outright, with only 10% deferred. Based on your profile, I think the odds of being accepted REA are quite low. You have a better chance maximizing everything and applying RD.

With that competitive of an applicant pool, (filled with 2300’s/4.0’s/Multiple 800’s on subject tests) having only a 700 in Bio E will not look good for Stanford.

Apply RD with your subject tests.

Whichever you decide, keep in mind that you must send the scores from every single test you’ve taken. You can’t pick and choose what to send so the bio score needs to be sent either way.
