<p>I promposed to my crush Kate on Valentines day, she said no in near tears because someone else had asked her hours before me. We asked each other out but never followed through with it.</p>

<p>I sent her a long text saying that I liked her:</p>

<p>"You're an amazing woman, i remember the first time I saw you at staff training in summer...i fell for you..,You sat in front of me when we were waiting outside the pool, cross legged and I said to myself, "She's beautiful, who the hell is she?" When you wore the lp (school name) swimsuit I flipped, I could not remember seeing u at school ever. I didn't even know you at the time, or your name...,i still remember at the end, i was staring at you in my car like a f*cking idiot and then u waved at me...its stupid i know</p>

<p>Dasilvas (guys name) an idiot to throw you away like that. The way he and his friends made fun of you on his Facebook status just pissed me off,</p>

<p>Im not sorry I asked you to prom, im certainly not sorry to asking you out if you even remember or if you can event count that tbh...If you did notice, I guess you thought I was hot and cold but I had some personal stuff going on at the time...but getting into UT is my priority right now. I wanted to ask you out again last week...but I wasn't sure how you were going to take it again and I wasn't sure if I could handle...still don't know...I thought I could hold it till after we finished working in may but I was wrong.</p>

<p>the only thing i regret is that i should have known u when i was in gr 10...i cant believe i missed out of two more yrs of Kate.You're perfect...

<p>She turned cold the week following that text but then turned hot when she found out I had a prom date.</p>

<p>Last Friday, I reconnected with a close girl friend at the pool (she was guarding as i coached). She is in university but we're going to prom together...Kate had to watch the two of us talk the whole shift. What made matters worse for her was that I wanted to know if we were just friends and had told her I wanted to tell her something after shift... she became VERY fixated on that and lost her cool. She followed me around and flirted with me LIKE MAD when she saw me with another girl...</p>

<p>I'm going to prom with the guard but I'm going to prompose to her (she never got a promposal)...</p>

<p>Le questions for le cookie!</p>

<p>1) Should I have Kate see me prompose to the guard/girl friend?</p>

<p>2) Should I ask Kate if we're friends or what before or after I prompose to my girl friend?</p>

<p>3) My co workers have said they'd helped if i want them to...should I trust them to hold Kate back for five mins?</p>

<p>Kate kinda sounds like a jerk, since she only liked you when you were taken.
Prompose to your girl friend, but don’t do it in front of Kate. That’s just low and kind of mean.
Ask Kate what your relationship status is after prom. If you do it before, things might get messy (you’re already going to prom with different people, you know?)</p>

<p>lol yep she was playing with me! She had a bf for a week and was still flirting with me! AND wanted me to take her to prom</p>

<p>This is like the 8th time I’ve read a thread about Kate.</p>

<p>I say skip out on prom and buy some pizza. Screw Kate. Pizza won’t give you the run around. </p>

<p>yep! I’m done with her now! Just trying to get over her…it took me 8 posts, two promposals and six months to get there!</p>

<p>got really upset that Kate was playing me…I had one day left (before prom tickets stop going on sale) and i was emotional distraught. Luckily pulled myself together, asked another girl to prom on the last period before lunch started (when the tickets were sold) and asked! basically I talked to Ms.emami (my teacher) first period and she said she is perfectly fine with her taking Iman out at 10:30 so I could prompose to her (Imam has ms. emami second period.)
but then the announcements came on saying you can’t prompose during class because it is too distracting
so that threw that idea out the door. So I bought the bouqet of flowers, stuffed a stuffed animal into the flowers that I had intially gotten for Aida’s birthday (screw her) and waited outside my locker, which was basically outside her classroom in the last 10 mins so as the mins came by i asked a friend to stay with me you know…for moral support
then some idiotic teacher decides to release his grade 9 science class one minture early and i had to deal with 30 grade 9s standing around me…waiting for the bell to ring…</p>

<p>the bell rings and classroom doors open and more people swarm the halls most of them stop to see what’s going on : cause 30 ppl have already stopped by then, there’s a soild circle of space surrounding me
and then Kate comes out, sees me with the flowers and opens her mouth in a smile just as iman comes out
and I asked her face got red as hell she said. “yes.” iman and Kate are in the same data class Kate thought i was promposing to her but then i turned and asked Iman and aida sorta paused and just walked away</p>

<p>As she leaves, I step in front of Imam, theres a good 30 ppl surrounding us in like a small circle and i ask she says. “yes.” like not smiling not frowning her face is red as HELL I give her the flowers with the stuffed dog inside it
: and we’re suppose to hug right? but she’s still frozen : like she’s looking at me like shes lost so i awkwardly hug her and that was it.</p>

<p>in the twnety minutes it took me to get my prom ticket, dozens of people knew about my latest promposal…ppl were congratulating me. I only said word to three people and i asked her after if I could buy her ticket and she sadi. “are you kididng me? it’s 75 bucks, it’s too expensive.” i said you sure after i left i looked back and she got surrounded by her friends and she was smiling like mad so that was good and then her friend said congrats to me in calc and told me Iman was really happy I asked Iman for her number and I got it!</p>

<p>A good friend of mine had spare with her after and he told me she was smiling and happy the entire spare. She talked with a friend of hers and her friend was smiling as well! Imam did ask my friend, “Is that why you asked me if you would say yes to anyone if someone promposed to you?”</p>

<p>My friend said yes…which I initially thought would have made her needy or made me look needy but turns out she smiled and told me friend to shooe (go away) with a giggle.</p>

<p>so lol ya I’ll get that pizza after prom! :P</p>
