Word. My NU senses only start kicking in around 9 p.m. when I get home.

I heard last years admissions came out on the 13th, Saturday. Hope it comes out around that time this year too.

how will the decision be send out this year? email? or mail?

email, then mail

There’s an increase in ED acceptances for Dartmouth. Is there a possibility that could happen with NU?
Anybody how MIT turned out? Perhaps there’s a pattern in increased admissions…

MIT defers most of its applicants

Ohmygod im getting this nauseous feeling in my tummy just thinking about it…i want to get in soooo bad, but more than that i want to KNOW NOW :)

anyway… still not sure when will the decision come out…

I hate how I feel like there’s a large group of us religiously checking this forum for any splice of knowledge as to the decisions. I wish you how luck! I also heard that due to the increased number of ED applicants that students who applied ED are given an even higher leg up from the regular decision kids. Not sure if that really eases anyone’s minds.

Yes. Religiously. It’s pathetic. What do you mean ED applicants are given a higher leg up? Like they’re accepting more from the ED pool or what?

From what I’ve heard (and this was from another applicant and she said she heard this from someone who already attends NU) is that they’re accepting a greater percentage of the ED pool compared to previous years. I don’t have any proof of this so it could all be hearsay.

Is there a reason they would accept more applicants?

@telescoptical

Haha. FACT. Let’s just call it a truth and feel good about this weekend.

@Glenny, not more applicants total, but more from the ED pool. They’ll still accept the same number, but there will be more picked from the EDs than before. Again, this is all subjective as I don’t have a definite source.

@telescoptical
That’s what i meant. Is there a reason (that you may know of or speculate) they’re accepting more kids from the ED pool?

IM FREAKING OUT. Gmail actually can’t handle the amount of times I put refresh button as I sit here.

Also, I’ve realized that in gmail, you see the preview of the first line of the message before you click on it. Don’t know if I like that…wonder what the subject will be…do they give away the decision right in the subject?..haha…This is actually borderline psychotic behavior.

You are not alone. It’s worse when you get e-mail on your phone. It could be any time now but most likely Saturday, I’m guessing.

wat time are results usually sent? because if its on saturday night i won’t be here haha

hey guys are you sure the decisions are mailed between friday~saturday? where is this coming from?

I just checked my email and found a new mail from North…, gasped and dropped my mouse. And then when I checked back, it was an ad from NorthEASTERN… ■■■…
