Earlier than December 15th!?!

are we giving up on tonight?

It’s 7:30 central…so I’m saying yes.

There’s no way we’re getting it tonight. Let’s hope for tomorrow morning. But it’ll prob be released on monday…

I F****** HATE THAT THEY DON’T TELL US WHEN! But i’m sure it’s because THEY don’t know when they’ll be done…

I may or may not die if we don’t find out tomorrow.

This is going to make the weekend last FOREVER.

Hm. Upon further thought, that isn’t a completely terrible thing…

I’m stuck inside tonight writing for an essay contest with a midnight deadline. And my English teacher wants me to e-mail her the paper so that she knows I submitted it. **** getting through this weekend; I just want to get through the next three hours.

There has to be someone in the admissions office who’s screening this thread…

This would be the best Christmas gift ever…knowing you’ll be attending Northwestern and not having to wait until March/April to know where exactly you’re heading come September. In my perfect world, all of us that are stressing right now will get to meet in Evanston in September…

If I get in, I am so going to buy a ton of Northwestern clothes…

So how “demonstratedly” interest is everyone in this thread?

I visited twice and attended an information session, campus tour, Medill information session, and small group meeting.

I’m 'bout to drive my a$$ down to Evanston tomorrow and force dem muthas to release the decision… I’m so sick of waiting!

I’ll meet you in Evanston tomorrow Glenny! Today I was shaking before checking my email just hoping for the email. I seriously don’t know what I’ll do if I get rejected (which is most likely). I’ll have to go visit other colleges…and buy a new sweatshirt. My NU sweatshirt hasn’t been touched since October 29th- didn’t want to jinx anything!

Haha, Glenny, I have a feeling that’s not an empty threat. You totally should, then post it on YouTube so we can all see you kick some butt in the admissions office.

I was going to visit in March, but somehow ended up in Costa Rica–never really had time to fly to the midwest. The closest I’ve been to Northwestern was a layover in O’Hare. I just spent a lot of time looking up information on the website, forums, threads…I applied ED, so I think that’s a pretty significant proof of seriousness.

oh, visit in june (warmest day of the year!), and stories from my grandparents, uncle, and cousins. i have family in the area that attended nu

@rc: you don’t have to see it in person to know how beautiful the campus is.
It’s amazingly beautiful. Fall is the best season with all the leaves changing and everything.

@bandie: I’m willing to bet that we can gather an army to storm to 1801 Hinman and ransack the packages. ahaha

Glenny- lets do it. i’ll grab my…calculator? they probably have a sphinx or a three-headed dog named fluffy guarding it. i think we can get the packages

I would have loved to go visit the university. I don’t live too far away, but for some reason it never happened. Now I have a slight feeling of inadequacy.

I cannot advocate any kind of storming, ransacking, or use of any force to cause Northwestern University to release the admissions decisions. However, if I happen to be in Evanston tomorrow, and I happen to see you, I may get caught in the crowd…

hahaha

What does everyone wanna do when they “grow up”?

Me:Go to B-school to be a nonprofit consultant for FSG, and a possible stint at Acumen (Fund)

When I grow up, I wanna be a broadcast journalist. This is why it is currently my life ambition to get into Medill.

And if I’m not good-looking enough for broadcasting, there’s always politics.

When I grow up, I wanna be famous…

after getting a masters or doctorate, I’d like to either be a biomed engineer and work on prosthetic body parts, or be a chemical engineer. I personally would love to develop a way to listen to loud music without damaging the ears haha

15 years from now, I plan on living in a dunghut somewhere Africa working as an OB/GYN for Doctors Without Borders. Or running a clinic in South or Central America.

I want to be a comedy writer for television. Kind of like a younger, less amazing, female version of Stephen Colbert. I mentioned him and Zach Braff in my Why NU essay. :)
