Early Action Decisions Mailing December 20

Southerncalimom- that girl is in my English class haha
But I got my letter today. Accepted with presidential scholarship!

Congrats, Ktf1994! I think you are the first one on the Chapman thread to get an acceptance letter. Has your webadvisor status changed to decision mailed? Are you in Orange County?

I haven’t checked my webadvisor (lost my username and password…whoops), but I am from the OC. All my friends here and in Riverside county and gotten their letters as well, so I assume they are radiating out of Southern California at this point and should reach other states by the end of next week? Christmas will mess up all of the college mail at this point :/

My S also received his acceptance today with a Presidential Scholarship. Yay!

His status still says Decision Reached for those who are wondering. :)

Thanks for the info Ktf1994 and southerncalimom! And congrats to your son! We are in LA, no letter today :frowning: (“decision reached” status for about a week). Hopefully, we’ll get it tomorrow or Monday.

Do any of you think it’ll reach Colorado by tomorrow?

I go out of town Sunday and would have to wait until after New Year’s to find out if not! :(

Congratulations Southerncalimom on your DS acceptance & scholarship! Your S must feel great.

It would be helpful to many if those whom have received acceptances letters could state their major, GPA (weighted or unweighted), SAT/ACT scores & ECs/Awards.

We know it is difficult time but it would be helpful if those whom were not accepted are able to share the same information as well so that we can advise others in the future.

Daughter was accepted today!! We are in Houston, so it finally made it here. Chancellor’s scholarship–a huge surprise and very exciting. It came in a large white envelope.
Her unweighted gpa is around 3.75 and SAT is 2030. Film studies major at Dodge. What
a fabulous Christmas present
Good luck everyone!!

Wow, all the way in Houston and it arrived already? I’m in California and it’s still not here! I’m really hoping it’ll come today!
Congrats to everyone!!

We are in northern California and it did not come in today’s mail… my son is going nuts with the waiting. He heard someone in SF got theirs… Texas! Wow! Very lucky! Hoping for good news on Christmas Eve!

vvsitalia, how wonderful for your D! Is Chapman her first choice?

Got the acceptance this afternoon. We are in Nor Cal.

@collegeproject Where in norcal are you?

My son’s packet arrived in Iowa today … he was accepted as a screenwriting major with a Chancellor’s Scholarship. Best Christmas present ever, and what a relief! We’re so happy for him and so relieved the waiting is over. Best of luck to everyone else!

Forgot to add that his webadvisor status still says “Decision Reached,” as it has since 12/8.

So it’s 4:29 PM and my mailman didn’t come today… it’s not even a holiday! Either he will come very late or I’ll have to wait until Monday (or even later). This wait is killing me!

For those who got deferral letters, had your status changed to roll to regular admission in web advisor or was it decision reached?

We are in the South Bay. Just read through the whole package and realized that he was offered the Chancellor’s Scholarship, $20k per year. I feel better about paying for the AP exams now : )
