Hello there! I am a rising senior, and I was wondering: I've heard that its really bad to apply Early Decision if you want a decent financial aid package; however, I was wondering about MIT's Early Action program. I want to EA to MIT, but financial aid is a serious consideration for me. Will MIT give me less financial aid or a worse package if I apply Early Action?

No, since Early Action is not binding, it won’t affect you in anyway - MIT knows you aren’t automatically matriculating (if that’s why you’ve heard that ED packages are bad).
