I applied early action to MIT, and my MYMIT homepage says that I am currently not a financial aid applicant. Is this because I have not turned my fasfa in yet, or did I fill something out wrong on my MIT application? Also, does anyone see a reason to turn the fasfa in to MIT right now for early action, or can I just wait until the February financial aid deadline gets closer?
You want to call MIT for an update. You should also ask them about turning in FAFSA now so you can get the most complete award package should you be accepted in December.
From their website, I don’t see a benefit. That does surprise me as many schools have “priority” dates for EA, ED, etc. I don’t see any “priority” info on MIT’s website. If you want to be sure, contact them directly.
