Early Action Notification Date

bri, the deadline was actually not earlier. it was extended to the 15th. trust me, cause i turned it in last minute ON the 15th :-p

Yeah... I do hope we hear sooner than later. I applied ED to NYU, so the anxiety is killing me there. It is always nice to hear a yes!

irene, it was moved?! rawrrrr... i was freaking out on halloween because i didn't think it was going to get done in time. it was all in vain. oh well. i still want to know like next week.

lol yeah it was! something about the nov 15 deadline last year wasn't changed in some pamphlets so people were confused or something? i don't know. i randomly got an email from NU and i was like "HOOORAH!" when i saw it cause i wouldn't have had time to apply otherwise!

aww bri, i think we'll get our decision around the 17th then... if that's what happened last year!

i hope sooo arghhhh. i want you to leave me a wall comment the second you find out! after you finish jumping up and down and screaming, of course. =)

HAHA okay! you too!!!

p.s. the artwork might take a while to give you in the midst of my excitation but i'll do my best :)

ahhh the blinking sign! i forgot! ahhh for some reason i just got sooooo pumped hahaha yay

the nerves are getting to me...I applied to 10 schools and I haven't heard back from one yet. Northeastern is my top choice too =/

^ soon enough. next week... hopefully.

yeah, i'm lookng at northeastern too, and did ea. does anyone know if northeastern lets you know electronically for sure?

ps. whatds you guys get sat wise or other stuff, just would like to know

^ they send you an email and then you log onto your portal account, where the results are.
i only got a 1950, which is nothing compared to everyone else on here haha

i have 3.46 weighted GPA

SAT
R-640
M-700
W-790

2130/2400
1340/1600

I'm sooo nervous

Gah, I can't find my ID/password for the life of me. I think my mom recycled it when she was getting rid of all the college spam :(

How much later do decisions get (snail-)mailed out?

My stats:
4.699 weighted GPA
Superscored--
M-710
R-750
W-780

What are you kids all nervous about? God, your stats are unbelievable -- of course you'll get in!! Not knocking Northeastern in any way, shape, or form -- great school -- but really, this isn't an Ivy we're talking about.

Relax, go out, and have some fun -- you'll find out the good news next week!

i got
math 750
reading 680
writing 690

math2's 800.

i just really want to get into the honors program. i'm kinda held back by my gpa though i think. i have a 3.5 unweighted, B+.

You're in -- you're all in. Relax!!

^ hahahah did you see my stats? nothing compared to these people. i wish i was as confident as you!

I think you all have great chances and understand your anxieties at this time
Though Northeastern is not an Ivy, it's stats for acceptances are tougher now than they were just a few years back. It is rising in the ranks, no doubt.
I still think you all have great chances, maybe not for honors, but in

That's the thing... I'm pretty confident I'm in (not to be obnoxious about it)... I just really need some sweet scholarship $$ and honors program would be very nice (otherwise I'll probs end up @ UMass Amherst, where I'm pretty sure I'll get into Commonwealth College... but I mean, I could always get into my reaches and get some great finaid... but then again, I can wake up from my dream world!).

Good luck to everyone. :)

Blinkangel44 , honors doesn't necessarily get you more in merit at NEU than regular admitted students...and your initial offer may not be all you receive either...when all was said and done, my daughter got slightly under half of all expenses covered by the full finaid offer...
