Early Action VS. Including Senior Grades

Let's say a school (In my case, Case Western Reserve and UChicago) has early action and regular options. Would I be better off doing early action or waiting until regular deadline so my improved gpa and class rank from 1st semester senior year grades** would be included?

**(assuming that they would be all As with 5 out of 7 classes being weighted credit)

So if I were to hypothetically get all As, which option would I be better off with??? If it matters, UChicago is a pretty high reach for me and case western is a match. Does choosing early action particularly help you out at either of these schools?

Advice :)?

Ask on the Case and Chicago forums, and ask the admissions folks as well. My D1 faced the same issue (albeit for ED at a different school), and she just asked the adcoms straight out.

What is your current GPA? What would your cumulative GPA be if you got all As?

Come back with those numbers, and I’ll give you my advice
