If I apply early action is there any way that the school would seem my first term grades for this year. Our grades will be out November 10th and I was wondering if there is anyway I could send them in. If I could not send them, I was wondering for some opinions on whether or not I should apply early action if I feel like my first term grades will really help my application.
Thanks!

My daughter’s school automatically sends out the first quarter grades to all the schools the kids apply to. They come out the same time yours do. It’s still in time for EA or ED. Just have your guidance counselor send them out, I’m sure he/she will.

Well you HAVE to send them out, no matter what. Even if they were semester grades that came out in Jan after the EA decisions, you still have to send them. So it’s just a matter of if they’ll make a decision about your application by the time the grades get there. Check the SAT rules for it- if they allow November SAT scores (which I think they do, but not sure) then chances are they’ll look at your November term grades.

But EA is such a big factor in scholarships and showing interest that I’d suggest applying even if your grades won’t be in.
