Early Actoion Deadline and Oct SAT's

Hi, I am still a little confused about the Oct SAT's. I took them in March and did OK then again in May and did well but think I can do better (I was really sick that day) so I signed up to take them again in OCT. I don't want them automatically sent because if I do worse then I will just send my May scores (to the schoold that don't require all scores). But I want to apply Early Action to several schools so will that still be okay? Scores will be available 10/29 and then I can make a decision and then pick which ones to send. But will it be too late?

I say send in the scores you have with your EA’s. Go ahead and take the October SATs and if you do better, send those also. Most, if not all, admissions officers see rising scores as a good thing and are willing to take them into account even if they come past the EA “deadline”. Just call, email or write the admissions office/councelor/officer to let them know what you’re doing (if you do it).
Good luck!

Check individual college websites to see what their policy is on sending scores (when to do so for EA, etc.)
