Early admission without diploma

Is it possible? I am looking to apply to some colleges after my junior year... my district has a requirement for four years of gym in high school and I am not sure if they will make an exception. From reading a bit about it, it seems to me as though only a few select colleges have programs like this...?

You say you wish to apply to colleges after your junior year, so you will be a rising senior. Lol, I think that is usually the time high school students start applying for colleges, unless you are saying you wish to skip your senior year entirely and jump into university.

I do not know of a single college or university that specifically requires that students must have completed high school before enrolling. They admit students who they believe are ready for college-level work. If you have had it with high school, go ahead and apply to college now.

Some colleges and universities do have specialized early admission programs. Often those students live in residence halls designed to accommodate younger students, participate in social activities more appropriate to their age, and have their own academic advisors. If you are interested in that type of program, one place to start looking is here: [Early College Entrance Programs | Hoagies’ Gifted](Early Entrance College Programs | Hoagies' Gifted) If you are interested in regular college programs, email the places you are interested in, and ask what you need to do to apply there.
