Applying to College as a Junior

Currently I'm a sophomore, and I've been entertaining the idea of applying to college next fall/winter as a junior instead of applying my senior year. I've already finished my SAT I (2390), and I'm already taking AP Calc BC this year. I know USC has a resident honors program for juniors to apply to take their senior year of high school at USC. Is it possible for other universities to accept me without having graduated though, say a UC school?

Many colleges have what is called an “Early Admission” program (unrelated to early action or early decision) under which high school students can be accepted after junior year without graduating from high school. Colleges usually admit under that program only very highly qualified applicants. UCs do not have such a program.

You may apply to MIT as a Junior. You seem like a high-achieving kid; wish you good luck.

I THINK UChiago has one such program…

To be honest, I can’t say that I’ve ever heard of a college or university that did not admit the occasional “early college” student. Some even have programs specifically designed for students as young as 9th grade age. Contact the places you are interested in, and ask them about their policies.
