<p>ED does not seem to grant an advantage. Admissions officers say that it doesn’t, and I tend to agree. The reason? Although the admissions percentage is higher in the early round, the early round is when schools like Brown admit the lion’s share of their recruited athletes, legacies and development admits. These categories, coupled with URMs, constitute 40% of the class. If 40% of the class is admitted ED, and URMs are backed out (because their edge exists in both ED and RD), there are relatively few spots open in the ED round for non-URM, non-recruited-athlete, non-development admits.</p>
<p>Yeah kids at my school have been really irritating me too. Now if I ever get a problem wrong in class everyone is like “You’re going to Brown?” It is sooooooooooo annoying. I just want to be like dont be jealous just because I’m going to Brown and you going to stupid U of M. Don’t let that stupid kid get you down he is just jealous.</p>
