I have no idea either!! Someone please tell us when they get theirs…

I also just sent my app in. I was thinking that we would get access to the Portal on November 15th, but then again I don’t know for sure if that’s true.

Just sent in my app!

What schools/majors did you guys apply to?

I applied to the College of Arts and Sciences for Bio.

I applied to College of Arts and Sciences for English and Biochem!

Sent into Olin for Finance or marketing :)

College of Arts&Sci for biochem and neuroscience! :D

Seems biochem is mighty popular haha

Still seems like quite a variety though. Are most of you going on a premed track? Just curious :]

Md/PhD track hopefully! And on a side note, are any of you having issues with your app? On my account it shows it submitted but on my guidance counselor’s, it says not submitted. A few other people in my school are having the same problem.

I had that problem. Check your portal there is some ED download you need to submit.

Actually, I just emailed the office and they said it’s because they’ve received it, but haven’t picked it up and downloaded it. Their office is a bit overloaded right now.

From one day of all X’s other than my common app, they all turned green minus the Early Decision thing

Applying ED to Olin! Is it true that Olin is less competitive to get into compared to Wash U’s other schools? Maybe that’s just a rumor. Good luck everybody :)

Maybe that was the case 5 years ago. The number os students in the B school is increasing year after year and I’d say it’s as difficult to get into as any other school at WashU.

I am curious whether you guys got emails from school asking for progress report before Nov 29? I am getting conflicting answers about this from the admission office.

Yep, but I’m choosing to brush them off.

I asked the admissions office myself if they were required, since my school wouldn’t be able to send them out by then, and they said it was perfectly fine if I didn’t have them in by then.

I applied ED to engineering! I’m beyond nervous. Currently working on the Danforth Scholars app.

I haven’t gotten any sort of confirmation email/Portal account information from them, though-- should I email and ask about it? Or is everyone else still waiting as well?

@DancingK: How long has it been since you submitted your application? If it’s only been three days, you can relax. It took me 6 days and this was before the deadline rush.

That’s good to know. I turned my app in on the 14th, so I guess it’s going to take a couple more days.

How does Wash U notify ED applicants of the decision–online, US mail?
