@Pulverize my marking period ends friday, so not yet… is Bowdoin requesting them, because I know that only some schools do… :)

@telhame12 Bowdoin definitely wants them, my portal just updated today asking for the midyear. Hopefully good sign of acceptance or deferral…

@telhame12 I haven’t received any notifications that my midyear report should be submitted. Perhaps it does not matter for those who have been admitted through ED1?

@vell28: Of course, Bowdoin wants anything that reflects your academic ability. But I just want to know whether those have been admitted through ED1 should submit the midyear report also? Is there any deadline for the submission?

@pulverize I wouldn’t doubt it, most schools require it to ensure your grades aren’t dramatically dropping. Just have your counselor upload it to the common app. :)

Thanks bobow98! Everything you’ve told me is very useful!

@Vell28: thanks! Good luck with your result btw.

They sent the email at 7:00. Deferred! Kind of thankful actually, kind of worried about the whole “what if I went there instead” because there are so many schools I’d like to go to.

Deferred as well! Same, somewhat thankful. Would have been great to end this application process, but thankful that I’ll (hopefully have options).

Got rejected from Bowdoin ED2… Sigh. Oh well it was expected, grades just wasn’t up to bowdoin’s standard. :/

By the way, would anyone have any statistics on the acceptance rate for deferred students?

Has Bowdoin sent out any early writes for class of 2017 regular decision?
