<p>Don’t worry too much about it. The loan information was only there for half an hour or so. I’m not surprised most people missed that narrow window of time.</p>

<p>@jocelyn11395 well for me and @maxride94 we had some loans that came out like 4 of them. I hope it’s not a glitch. I think it was up for like 15 to 20 minutes then it disappeared. I hope they answer us by tomorrow or Friday.

<p>@pipermaru we saw it on the financial aid site. They took it away within 30 minutes though! I don’t think a lot of people were able to get a glimpse of this before MHC took it off, so don’t worry! We’re not even 100% sure if this even means anything! This wait is killing us all slowly ah!!</p>

<p>I cant believe how big this thread is haha. Its really weird because where I live no one seems to have heard of mount holyoke. Whenever I mention it everyone always says “oh yeah, where is that again?” Its like its some kind of secret. I would think more people would have heard of it! Has anyone else gotten a similar reaction from people?</p>
<p>I get a lot of people who have never heard of it and once they learn it’s an all women’s college they stop listening. The only person who knew about it was my principle. He was like “That’s an amazing school. Emily Dickinson went there!”</p>
<p>Absolutely no one where I live knows about Moho, except an official at one of my track meets, he was the only one… Totally random</p>
<p>Nobody really knows about mount holyoke here, but i saw it was mentioned in the 11th grade literature textbook as Emily Dickinson’s college. And the english teacher who wrote the textbook did one of my rec letters, what a coincidence</p>
<p>Where I live, if it isn’t Harvard or MIT, don’t expect anyone to understand what you’re talking about. So the fact that my family and friends didn’t know about Mount Holyoke wasn’t really an issue for me, since they are pretty ignorant about American colleges in general. </p>
<p>I just use the words “It’s the Harvard of women’s colleges”, “produces more female science PhD’s than MIT”, “the anesthesiologist who invented the Apgar score went there” (this works very well with my father, who is also in anesthesiology) and they can’t say “wow” fast enough. </p>
<p>I would mention the Emily Dickinson thing but I’m pretty sure no one I know is aware of who she is (except for my 11 year old sister, for some reason).</p>
